We were picked up at 5:00am by our local team member and drove an hour north and arrived at a school to where we handed out 8,300 New Testaments. Next we went to a college and placed 2,559 New Testaments in the hands of students one at a time. After lunch we went to a Providential Hospital; which so far has been the hardest distribution I have been on. The children were 2 to a bed, and the conditions in the hospital made me pray I never get sick in this country. At one bed with two small children in it there was a mother using a rescue breathing bag on her child, because there was no respirator there. When I placed a a Tagalog New Testament on the nightstand she looked up at me with tears in her eyes and thanked me and said "God bless you." I had to go out in the hallway because I could not see to hand out another bible because of my own tears. We placed 561 bibles in that hospital. Next we went to a Providential jail, and visited both the men, and women inmates where we handed out 2,200 Tagalog New Testaments, we were also allowed to present the Gospel to a group of men in a exercise yard. This jail was built to hold less than 1,000 inmates. After this day I will never look at a hospital or jail distribution the same as I did before, I am forever changed. We got back to the hotel at 7:30pm, I went straight up to the room called Sally, skiped dinner and went to bed.
The distribution numbers for the day were 20,536 for our team, 121,924 for the day, and 440,156 for the four days so far.

Hey, Rick!
It is a real inspiration to read your blog. The numbers are staggering. It is incredible to think that each number represents a person. You won't know this side of heaven what a difference you are making, but I am sure a lot of folks will be there because of you and your team. We are praying for you.
Terry
