What a day (make that 2 days) it has been. First and foremost I want to thank God for His blessings, we are here safe and sound.
On the first leg of my flight it was a special surprise when 3 friends came to see me off. Thank you.
My first flight was delayed due to weather, and the plane being overweight; 2 people were asked to take another flight.I just made it to my connecting flight, where I meet 2 other men that are on our team.
We left the U.S. about 11:10p.m. Thursday night and landed in the Philippines at 3:30a.m. Saturday morning. This is when I found out that my bag had not been placed on the flight to the Philippines, I pray that I will get it tomorrow.
We had a team meeting at 4:00p.m. and were taken out to dinner by the local team members.What a great meal!
Tomorrow morning all the team members will be speaking in church services.
Again we ask everyone to pray that God would be glorified in all that we do while we are here, and that many would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through our labour of love to our Saviour.
